Created by Wunderman Thompson Cairo and sensitively directed by Neviene Ragab through Maradona Films, the film depicts the lonely lives of security guards, night workers and general insomniacs.
The poetic commentary – “Their story is reversed – the end of our day is the beginning of theirs.” – and glowing cinematography from Ahmed Tarek Bayoumi come together in a tastful treat that ends with the entreaty to share some chocolate comfort with the after-darkers.
