Carnage Films Latest Spot For Acura NSX - "Original Must Be Done"
Directed by Mark Jenkinson from Carnage Films.
In 2005 Westlife were at Number 1, but that isn’t the worst thing we remember about that year, for 2005 was also the year when one of the coolest cars ever built went out of production; the Acura NSX.
But in 2016 the NSX is back, and boy was it worth the wait!
The new Acura NSX is now a hybrid, packed with a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V-6 and three electric motors, giving it a whopping 573 hp. But like its processor, the new NSX is a supercar where driver, technology, and the machine work in harmony to create the ultimate driving experience.
So, when Carnage director Mark Jenkinson was asked to direct the new launch film about the NSX by mcgarrybowen, he thought he would start with where the NSX was born – the state of the art production facility in Ohio USA.
Mark wanted to draw parallels between the precision and passion that goes into the making of the NSX, with the essence of the on road driving experience.
In a world first, every single one of the hundreds of bespoke NSX supercars that roll off the production line will have a tailored film about that specific car as specced by its owner – from the colour to the alloys, to a unique number plaque. Have a guess if you can tell which cars belong to which celebrity buyers...
Mark; “This was the ideal project because the NSX is a genuinely innovative car and as such perfect for the extreme visual approach I had in mind’.
