As campfires light up all around the outdoors, Columbia uses warmth in many ways to celebrate their tech’s 10-year anniversary.

A man strikes up a song with a bear; another makes what looks like the spiciest 5-alarm chili in the Yukon; in a third film, a cat, safely inside, cozies up on the warm laptop that’s playing an outdoor campfire. Each ad is clever and fun, seeking to answer the burning question - how warm do Columbia’s jackets really feel?

Humorous, with a slant wink at the iconic toughness of the brand, 215 McCann developed the campaign to accompany the anniversary. All four films; Bear Campfire, Stovetop, Digital Fire, and Forest Creature Campfire, were produced by The Mill+ and directed by Andrew Proctor. And a fantastic credit that I can’t help but mentions; the bear and various creatures who show up made possible by the human-in-a-bear-suit, puppeteer Tom Martin.
