Production company PRETTYBIRD announced that Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Garrett Bradley has joined their roster for representation.
Bradley’s genre-defying work illustrates a visionary authorship ranging from award winning films, episodic television, and multi-channel video installation. As reflected in public exhibitions, assorted publications, and an inclusion in both Time Magazines “The 25 Defining Works of the Black Renaissance” and Barack Obama’s 2020 favourite movie list for the film Time, Bradley is acknowledged as a leading influential artist whose radical approach is crucial for our time.

Garrett Bradley was born and raised in New York City.
Her Academy Award-nominated documentary Time (2020) was nominated for over 57 awards and won 20 times, including a 2020 Peabody Award, and becoming the first Black female director to win Best Director at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival. Previously, Bradley was honored with the Jury Prize for her short documentary film Alone (2017) which was produced and distributed by The New York Times OpDocs.
This fall, an early career survey of Bradley’s work, will close its national tour at The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA in Los Angeles and will be up from September 10, 2022 through February 19, 2023.
