Brian Latt joins m ss g p eces as partner/EP after his huge success in transforming Tool into a global powerhouse.
New York based m ss g p eces has added a new business partner, Brian Latt, who has officially joined as a partner/EP.
Brian’s most notable success story was transforming Tool’s modest roster of seven directors into a global powerhouse in eight years. As president of Tool of North America, he introduced and implemented its growth into a fully integrated shop with top live action directors and interactive directors. Never before had a traditional production company successfully transformed into a fully integrated shop with a full complement of in-house digital services and interactive directors. In short, Brian created a new category of production companies.
Just prior to Brian's departure, Tool was the fourth most award winning production company, including twelve Cannes Lions, two Emmy awards and a Primetime Emmy nomination.
Brian joined new-wave production company m ss ng p eces as a partner in September 2014. He will be establishing an LA office to support the award winning Brooklyn-based shop.
