Cowboys. You know the drill: wilderness-surviving; fast-shooting; horse-riding; men (or women) of few words.
Well that's not really the case with The High Ridge, filmmakers Lasseur-Groh's rootin-tootin short set in the days of outlaws and gunslingers.
Following a pair of bounty hunters as they air their grievances after a disappointing colleague (?) gathering, we learn that dance etiquette and reminiscing on great kills does not make up for a good look-out.
With sparkling performances from the two leads and a look that belies the "crew of three and the pocket change spent to make it", this dusty domestic scene is witty in tone and grandiose in looks.
