These three comedic idents for France 3 show off exceptional VFX and classic slapstick humor.
A marmot goes for the shot-put, swinging around, preparing their throw, and then...takes off with the lead ball. In a bike race, the winning rodent accidentally knocks over their opponents during a victory lap. Another can’t make it over the pole-vault and instead slides down, adding an artistic flair to the sport. Even the newly-minted Olympic skateboarding event doesn’t get to scoot under the radar.
Punchy and charming, the four spots are a cute intro to this year’s long-awaited Summer Olympics. Working with agency Dream On, the independent visual effects studio, LIGHT VFX produced the idents.
