In mid-February, PENNY store in Berlin had a makeover from Serviceplan Campaign to turn the discount store into a Las Vegas-style chapel for one day.
Decked out with kitsch decorations and paired with an equally kitsch video, produced by It's Us, the campaign invited 22 happy couples to get married on 22 February 2022 at the store in Germany’s capital city.
The unusual stunt combined the iconic Las Vegas design and the recognisable irony and wit of PENNY’s advertising campaigns, all presented by an Elvis Presley impersonator and seen through a rose-tinted filter of love.
