It's lucky that renowned film director Stanley Kubrick only helmed 13 movies in his lifetime, or this sumptuous promo for Gucci would be a couple of hours long.
As it stands, the piece is a testament to many of the key works from the auteur's oeuvre, with startlingly accurate recreations of 2001: A Space Odyssey, A Clockwork Orange, Eyes Wide Shut, Barry Lyndon, and The Shining sitting alongside each other like a cinematic megamix.
Spearheaded by creative director Alessandro Michele, himself a confessed cinephile, The Exquisite Gucci Campaign continues the delightfully cheeky run of 'fashion films' for the brand, with director/photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott capturing the mise-en-scene of the master's output whilst giving it a distinctly Guccian twist.
