Seed Media Arts has signed the award-winning director, Hans Emanuel.  Emanuel is a native of Venice Beach, California and speaks fluent English, French and Spanish. He has spent most of his childhood exploring Europe, the United States and Mexico. Inspired as a boy by the world's diverse musical expressions, he was ultimately intrigued by the violin.

After relocating to New York City, Emanuel found his creative passion shift to the infinite palette of digital design. While living in Spain, he was drawn toward developing fashion videos and narrative short films. In Paris, he honed his skill for crafting fashionable advertising spots. Now back living in LA, his interest is focused on commercials projects that seek sensuality and beauty. Hans’ sophisticated eye enables him to capture moments that are not only graceful, but believable and real. In one word, his work is elegant.

“Emanuel's work has the power to captivate, inspire and seduce,” says Seed’s Roy Skillicorn. He adds, “His work with VFX is seamless. All his imagery is distinctive and compelling. I'm just wowed.”

Executive Producer, Tim Ward, concurs by noting, “Perhaps what is truly unique about Hans is a trait so rarely found in fashion directors, which is his ability to utilize his fashion sensibilities and transition them to other types of storytelling, including humor and slice of life scripts.”

This ability is most keenly expressed in his recent multiple award-winning spot for OPI which personifies different nail polish colors via dance expression; In it, young women “dance-off” with a uniquely rhythmic horse.

This young director has won a Cannes Lion, a Gold Clio and both Gold and Silver awards at Courchevel’s Cristal Festival.  Emanuel’s short film, Cajas, also won a number of awards. Ever the journeying creative, he continues to divide his time traveling the various cities around Europe, but calls Venice Beach his home once again.
