The trope of the neighbour softening the heart of a curmudgeonly acquaintance is hardly a new one in advertising, but with the deft hand of Martin Werner this cliché leaves us crying nonetheless.
Produced by Bacon with PONG as the agency, Lonely Neighbor sees a young family moving in next to a lonely and somewhat bitter woman.
With some lovely performances and a sense of pace and storytelling that is hard to master, Werner manages to aim for the feels in a sprightly 60 seconds.
