Rhythm + Hues Commercial Studios Adds Joe Murray to its Roster


Director/cinematographer Joe Murray has signed with Rhythm + Hues Commercial Studios for representation.  The announcement comes from Paul Babb, R+H Executive Producer.  Murray was most recently with Boxer Films.

An accomplished musician, Murray is known for his ability to integrate live action and visual effects in the commercial and music video realms, as well as for his talent for tapping into the character and emotions of the people and subject matters he captures.  He calls these  essential story elements “human truths,” and sees Rhythm + Hues as an ideal partner in supporting the visual nature of his work.

Murray has directed celebrities from the worlds of fashion and sports, including such boldface names as Jane Seymour, Cindy Crawford, Greg Norman, Dale Earnhardt. Jr., Richard Petty, Celine Dion, Aretha Franklin and Randy Travis, while his client list boasts Acura, Budweiser, Calloway Golf, Ford, Gatorade, General Motors, General Mills, MacGregor Sports, Lexus, Polaris, and Procter & Gamble. The commercial director has also been called upon by Hollywood for feature film projects at Warner Bros., Lucasfilm, and HBO.

“I’ve been a huge fan of Joe’s work, and am excited to have him as part of Rhythm + Hues,” says Babb.  “His ability to marry stunning photography with true emotion is one of the key reasons I wanted him to join us. Obviously, Joe’s clients appreciate that, too. They also know he’s a true artist and a wonderful person to work with.”
