Joseph Ogunmokun joins THE HOGAN

The former Mother producer becomes the independent music company’s first managing director.
Joseph Ogunmokun has joined THE HOGAN as managing director, becoming the first to hold the role at the independent music company. He begins in October 2025.
Ogunmokun started his career in production at Grey London in 2012, later moving to Havas London, before spending the past five years at Mother. At THE HOGAN, he joins founder Sean Hogan and Vice President Lee Pavey to form the company’s leadership team. The business currently has seven staff members at its London base.
Founded in 2020 by Sean Hogan, THE HOGAN has built a reputation for creative craft with work for clients including Riyadh Season, Samsung, JD Sports, Beats and Nike.
“We weren’t actively seeking an MD, but as soon as we spoke about Joseph, I got chills, and it was the easiest decision ever,” said Hogan. “I’ve known Joseph for some time and aside from his obvious intelligence, empathy, eloquence, charisma and genuine care for the world and others around him — it is also his creative and clear thinking, understanding of the industry we operate in, how and where to break boundaries, and ability to see and nurture others that are so exciting, and gives me no doubt in what a profound effect Joseph will have on the company, its staff and its growth.”
