American healthcare provider Kaiser Permanente brings a little colour and character to the often dry, cliché-ridden world of medical care advertising with this beautifully animated campaign, Moving All To One.
Brought to life by The Sacred Egg through Riff Raff, the charming short film opens on a poorly protagonist flipping through endless pages of small print from his medical provider, until he finally reaches breaking point.
Suddenly, the waiting-room chair he’s perched on sprouts a pair of blue legs and walks him out of the building, set to the upbeat tune of Gorillaz’ Melancholy Hill.
The hospital building itself, followed by surgeons, therapists’ chairs and pharmacies, grow limbs and swagger across the city, forming a vibrant stop-motion metaphor for the company’s mission to simplify and unify every aspect of healthcare.
