Sustainability is undoubtedly one of the key talking points of our time, but most messages on the subject can be heavy, dry and downright depressing.
Not so for TBWA\Helsinki, who's unabashedly silly film for Finnish premium spirits brand Koskenkorva sees a field full of animals bang out a tidy (and timely) version of Bomfunk MCs' Freestyler.
Directed by Henry Littlechild, Party Like There Is Tomorrow's judicious use of animatronics and knowingly naff editing tricks (all delightfully put together) makes for a whole lot of sugar to help the message go down.

“People care about the environment and sustainability, but when researching this campaign, we found that traditional, ‘serious’ communication around sustainability rarely lands”, says Heini Suominen, Senior Brand Manager of Koskenkorva.
“And in any case, that style of communication wouldn’t have felt natural for us. We’re more at home with raving animatronic otters and Freestyler.".
“Animatronics brings a level of whimsiness and some roughness around the edges that you can’t achieve with VFX," adds Littlechild. "This also plays into our goal of being light in the way we’re presenting our message, but not making light of it.".
