Sometimes new products need big visual fanfares; explosive imagery to get the punters excited. But sometimes, we just need to see the damn shoe.
LAMAR+NIK's lovely film for Lakai Footwear fits firmly into the latter category, showcasing (or should that be shoecasing?) pro skater Griffin Gass' 'Terrace' variant with a delicate narrative.
Directed and edited by Nik Harper, with DP, edit assistance and colour from Ben Ericson, this deliberately unassuming and gorgeously crafted spot is the gentlest of gentle sells.
