Little Minx Signs On Acclaimed Director Ali Ali To Its Team Of Talent
He joins a diverse directorial team at Little Minx.
“I was so excited about Ali Ali when I came across his work, I felt a bit like Tom Cruise when he famously talked about Katie Holmes on the Oprah show,” says Little Minx Founder Rhea Scott.
Cairo-born Ali Ali is the co-founder of Good People Films, and named one of the top ten directors in the world by the Gunn Report in 2015.
He joins a diverse directorial team at Little Minx, alongside Luca Guadagnino, Malik Sayeed, Augusto de Fraga, A.V. Rockwell, Andrew Dosunmu, Rodrigo Prieto and Carissa Gallo.
In 2010, Ali founded Ad Agency Elephant with his creative partner Maged Nasser, with the two-man shop quickly becoming the region’s most awarded agency. By 2011 it was named one of the three most exciting new agencies in the world by the Cannes Lions Festival. Despite the agency’s success, Ali quit the ad world to focus on his directing career full-time in 2012. Today, he spends his time between Cairo and Athens; and now the USA.
