Having successfully expanded its body of targeted work by producing a large and varied portfolio of digital content for the web since its inception, Lost Highway Films has propelled itself into the VFX/Animation arena by signing director Mat Fuller.
Fuller has worked as a Visual Effects Artist, on set VFX Supervisor, Director, Designer, Post Production Producer and Editor since 2001. With his unique background in visual effects and his distinctive directorial vision, no shot or project is impossible.
"Escalating the live action platform beyond what LHF has been built on was something that always intrigued me," explains Lost Highway Executive Producer, Marc Rosenberg. "We have amazing directors who continue to collaborate closely with outside partners on live action/ VFX and animated projects. But with the advent of higher VFX technology available, I've been encouraged to look at rising stars in the VFX community who could work as a stand-alone creative force and take on these innovative assignments."
Fuller's commercial work includes spots for Ford, Samsung, Coke, Vizio, Shell, Nokia, Toshiba, and Mattel among others. TV & Film credits include visual effects work on NBC's "Numb3rs," Lead Designer for two feature length documentaries, "Westsiders" and "Bigger Stronger Faster," and Lead Visual Effects Artist for Tim Allen's latest TV show "Last Man Standing."
Rosenberg adds, "Mat has just designed and animated an original series depicting the irony, haphazardness and complacency of living in a modern world. Each episode is a stand alone piece, though the entire series has been branded 'The Title Of Show.' While there's been some early network interest, we are planning on a teaser launch in early April on Facebook which I hope will generate further interest in Mat's unique talents in the advertising universe."
Fuller comes to the creative process with post-production in mind, bringing earned technical knowledge, real world post-production and VFX experience. Fuller has worked with agencies such as McCann Erickson and Y&R on national campaigns; many times from pre-production all the way through post - helping develop the look, feel and post-production pipeline.
