Blink announce that One Day Director Luke Snellin has joined the Blink roster for commercial representation.

Snellin is an award winning director who has directed some of the most popular British TV shows of recent times. His early short films have received critical acclaim, including a BAFTA nomination for his film ‘Mixtape’ as well as being named Screen International’s Stars of Tomorrow list.

His work in TV started with the much loved My Mad Fat Diary, Russel T Davis Channel 4 Comedy Drama series Banana and The A Word for the BBC. Snellin has gone on to win an RTS award in Direction for the Mae Martin show Feel Good on Netflix starring Mae Martin, Charlotte Ritchie and Lisa Kudrow which also won an NME award for best Television Series and was No.6 on the Guardian’s 50 Best TV shows of 2021.

Most recently Snellin directed the final block of episodes on the Netflix hit One Day adapted from the well loved best-selling novel by David Nicholls. Featuring rising stars Ambika Mod and Leo Woodall, the show has polled as the number one watched show for several consecutive weeks in February and March 2024.

Upcoming Television projects due for release this year include a Warp Films/ BBC One show Reunion which will mark a milestone in inclusive storytelling with the majority of the cast being deaf or using sign language.

Snellin looks forward to bringing his directing talents to the world of commercial and branded projects with Blink.
