Directors Guild strengthens its position in the production industry with the addition of Kultainen Venla Award-winning director Mika Kurvinen to its exclusive roster.
The Kultainen Venla (Golden Venla) is Finland's premier television award, recognizing excellence in television production and performance.
As the newest addition, Kurvinen brings exceptional dramaturgical skills and confident direction of actors to the team. His approach to storytelling avoids superficiality, focusing on seamlessly intertwining narrative and emotion to create one-of-a-kind experiences. While he excels in drama, Kurvinen also acknowledges that in comedic genres, lightness can sometimes be a deliberate and effective tool to highlight deeper insights.
