Famed for his frequent collaboration with Flight Facilities, Uncle Friendly’s promos have featured Sam Rockwell, Reggie Watts & Kylie Minogue and have garnered worldwide attention.
Uncle Friendly is the alias for Rhett Wade-Ferrell, a kid who grew up on a school camp set on a goat farm in the foothills of the deep south of Tasmania and who somehow ended up becoming a director.
His commercial work includes an iconic spot for Southern Comfort featuring a body-popper who just can’t stop whilst in 2019 he has frequently collaborated with Apple and Apple Music.
Rhett continues to bring passion and enthusiasm to directing commercials and music videos while developing original long form content with his development collective Birdhouse Pictures.
Uncle Friendly is represented by Airbag in Australia and Gang Films in France.
