Ocado has launched a new campaign that aims to showcase the online grocery retailer's breadth of offering.
Created by St. Luke’s London and directed by Dom&Nic through Outsider, the campaign updates the company's strapline from 'The online supermarket' to 'There’s an Ocado just for you'.
The 60-second spot shows an Ocado driver delivering to different locations and households, with his transportation transforming from a Morris Minor van delivering bread into a small fishing boat sailing in with fresh fish, to a three-wheeled Italian artisanal deli and a farmer’s tractor with fresh vegetables to a series of other apt delivery vehicles, all accompanied by a cheerfully cheesy tune describing the scenes.
The original track features lyrics by St. Luke’s creatives Alan Young and Matt Harvey. “Now is the ideal time for Ocado to communicate its offering to prospective customers and remind existing ones of why it’s outstanding," said Young. "The sheer breadth of Ocado’s offering means people can have more of what matters to them. This campaign makes the ubiquitous Ocado van an icon that represents a new level of personalised service for shoppers across the UK.”
