It’s obvious he’s a games master, but he also knows how to play clean.
Created during lockdown, this new Old Spice spot features an animated version of the brand's iconic spokesman, played by Isaiah Mustafa, travelling between gaming worlds. There are some cute references to notable games like Pac-Man, and a few more bizarre influences that probably sprung, full-grown, from the mind of creative agency isobel, which won the Old Spice account in 2020.
The film is targeted at gamers and will run on YouTube and appear in mobile game placements. The campaign was written by Lance Boreham and Tom Dyson, and directed by Alex Bland through Thomas Thomas Films.
