Passion RAW UK has announced that it is forming a strategic alliance with the German hybrid production company Parasol Island.
Via the deal, fifteen live-action directors from Passion RAW will be represented exclusively in the German marketplace by Parasol Island. Managing Partner and Executive Producer Dan Scott-Croxford comments that, "Parasol Island is one of the most interesting upcoming hybrid production companies in Germany, so the choice was an easy one for us. I have worked with Parasol Island's New Business Director Bart Hendrikx in London in the past with great results and we both felt that now is the right time to make our professional relationship a more formal one."
Passion RAW is a live action production company formed in 2011 under the Passion Pictures Group with offices in London, Paris and New York.
Founded in 2002, Parasol Island is headed by Charles Bals, Sebastian Druschel, Philip Hansen and Moritz von Schrotter. The Hybrid production company has been working in the fields of film, animation and digital communication. Parasol Island currently has 55 permanent employees at its headquarters in Dusseldorf and Berlin.
