Mixed-Media Mavens PostPanic Sign with Savage

The directing and visual effects collective known as PostPanic has expanded its relationship with Savage, signing on with the New York and Prague-based production company for representation in North America. The news was announced by Savage MD/Executive Producer Pavla Burgetova.
PostPanic is a Dutch mixed media creative collective based in Amsterdam with a distinctive visual style that has come about through a shared passion for live action, motion graphics, visual effects and 2D/3D animation.
Core members include Mischa Rozema, co-founder of PostPanic and internationally the most recognized director of the collective, as well as Chris Staves, who directs and also heads up its in-house VFX team. Staves was a former partner and director at Psyop, as well as Creative Director and founder of both MassMarket in New York and Method in Los Angeles.
Aside from traditional broadcast work, PostPanic's skills also lay in the integrated world. Their recent projects include production of digital assets for websites and mobile platforms, as well as several 3D projection spots for clients including Mattel Hot Wheels. Their broadcast work includes spots and shorts for such brands as Asics, Nike, MTV, Coke, BMW, Google and others.
Most recently, Savage and PostPanic teamed up to produce the critically acclaimed titles for the 2011 OFFF Design festival in Barcelona, Spain. Shot on location in Prague, the film (you can screen it here), combines live action with provocative, graphic-led visual FX guiding the viewer through a grim scenario embedded with the names of artists appearing at the festival. It has received worldwide press and festival attention, with director Mischa Rozema now working on a feature film project as a result.
Amongst other prestigious awards they've won for their work, PostPanic received the AICP Next Award in the Experential Category for their 'Lost Ring' film trailers, part of a digital campaign created for McDonald's sponsorship of the 2008 Beijing Olympics by AKQA San Francisco.
In other Savage news, the company has announced new representation in the US, with Siobhan McCafferty & Associates handling the West Coast and Catherine De Angelis of Hot Betty handling the Midwest.
