Relta directs new promo Day Off for long time collaborator and artist Renao in LA and Joshua Tree.
Relta said: “Day Off is the final music video for Renao’s A Space Between Orange & Blue campaign. It felt right to end things on a lighter note, leaning into the care-free themes of the song with a less structured and conceptual video than we had done before. We simply wanted to follow Renao exploring California in search for this metaphorical Day Off within a light hearted performance video."
"We spent a week in LA, picking up props from thrift stores and scouting interesting locations & honestly just letting the video form itself across three shoot days. The VFX Billboard shots were inspired by the constant string of legal advice billboards we saw scattered around the city and the golf scenes were inspired by the props we could scavenge from thrift stores for a couple of dollars.”

The video is a joyful exploration of time spent freely. Relta is an up and coming British-Persian Director represented by The Corner Shop, who also represent Sara Dunlop and Ellen Kuras.
Executive Producer Sara Wallace adds “We’re really excited by Relta and his unique take on filmmaking. He spent his early career as a music producer selling beats to artists, from there he found a fresh mix of a love for both music and film. One to watch!”
