40 years after decrying that People Are People, Depeche Mode is back to examine the human condition again.
Vaguely echoing The Guardian's seminal Points Of View film in its concept, the music video for People Are Good shows us a series of starkly shot, antagonistic-feeling scenes that reveal more on closer examination.
Directed by Riff Raff's Rich Hall, the promo's use of slow motion and painterly tableaux, not to mention the high-contract b/w, makes for an intriguing viewing that perfectly matches the band's thumping track.
