Experiencing the thrill of sport is one of the many reasons that people flock to the Olympics. 

But with the current pandemic, most everyone has to stay back. Utilizing technology, the ad brings the Olympics into the classroom, the living room, the skatepark where 13-year-old Sky Brown practices for her upcoming competition. With clever VFX and an emotional throughline, Be There is a reminder that virtual support can span continents. 

“Sports are inherently emotional. You’re cheering, celebrating wins, grieving loses with each other and with athletes. But this year we can’t all be together,” says Marcelo Padoca, executive idea director for the community. After primarily focusing on Samsung’s Latin American marketing, this film marks the community’s first global campaign. Reset produced the piece which was directed by Us
