Young or old, rich or poor, Cancer doesn’t discriminate. It can affect anyone; even a timeless character like Santa.
To portray how the disease isn’t just something that happens to others, Publicis Conseil and cancer research hospital Gustave Roussy have partnered up to launch this heartfelt and cinematic film, directed by Vladimir De Fontenay through Iconoclast France.
Despite this seemingly gloomy message, the initiative aims to break down misconceptions that a diagnosis always meaning death. Cancer has never been as curable as it is today, yet few of us are aware of the incredible progress that has been made in fighting this disease.
With this positive insight in mind, the creative takes us through Santa’s year-long journey from the discovery of his illness to the various treatments he received at Gustave Roussy, as well as the unwavering support he received from his daughter and the medical staff until his remission.
