Savage, the award-winning content production company, will present the photography of Kyoko Hamada at its New York office. The exhibition features a selection of Ms. Hamada’s work from Questlove’s latest book, somethingtofoodabout. The series represents Ms. Hamada’s unique visualization of Questlove’s clever conversations with ten innovative chefs. Ms. Hamada’s beautifully awkward – and, at times, dark and humorous – photography, combined with Questlove’s singular connection to food, is a fresh and exciting approach to today’s culinary world.

Born in Tokyo and based in New York, Kyoko Hamada’s photography has been featured in PDN Photo Annual, Communication Arts, PDN Under 30, American Photography Annual, and the NY Photo Festival. She has been working as a commercial photographer for over 10 years; her clients include Vitra, Uniqlo, IBM, and Microsoft and magazines such as The New Yorker, London Telegraph Magazine, Harper’s Bazaar, The Atlantic, New York Times Magazine and Wall Street Journal Magazine.

Savage presents this exhibition as part of its continuous efforts to showcase and develop talented filmmakers and photographers. Ms. Hamada’s photography will be on display, and copies of the book will be available for sale.
