With clever winks at serials like Miami Vice, Burn Notice, and the Fast and Furious franchise, Taco Bells’ Supply and Demand rides fast and dirty through the city

Two men, travelling in a nondescript vehicle, weave their way through the beachside cityscape, tracking down the locked-up Nacho Cheese Fries and delivering them to buyers across town. They run into the police, the Russian Mob, and enjoy a few cheesy snacks. The production value of this piece is so slick. Production company Neighborhood Watch has polished the spot to a chromatic shine, full of costumes, sets, and beautiful food design, all of it just perfected on the screen.

Supply and Demand is still a Taco Bell ad, and the piece doesn’t lose the humor we’ve all come to expect from the company. Directed by Jeremy Saulnier, the spot is fast-paced and full of winks and nods for fans of buddy cop comedies.
