From the sensory delights of touching trees or scoffing chips, to the desperation of slicing through one’s vein with a razor blade or slamming a fist into glass, this arresting film runs through a litany of actions performed by hands.
Increasingly becoming darker as gorging turns to groping, and rude gestures become acts of violence, the film’s brilliant conceit was devised by Prague agency COMTECH_CAN and sensitively directed by Marek Partys through Bistro Films. The haunting music was composed by Viliam Béreš.
It ends with the tagline, “your arm’s purpose is up to you. Donate blood. Regularly.”
