Tunisian Ministry Of National Tourism Unveils The Multi-Facetted Gems Of Tunisia
Spot directed by Anh Vu.
For most of us, Tunisia conjures up images of sea, sun and sand, only a short flight away. But few are as familiar with the ruins of Dougga (classified by Unesco as a World Heritage Site), the Tataouine Ksour, or the splendid world-class golf course at Tabarka to name but a few. The Tunisian Ministry of National Tourism has chosen to highlight these hidden treasures and many more in its new campaign. A virtual tour of everything one could dream of for the perfect holiday.
The film, directed by New-Yorker Anh Vu, presents a fresh image of Tunisia, far from the usual clichés. The result is an emotional journey of discovery through a country we thought we already knew. Modern yet timeless and thoroughly unexpected.
The four visuals of the press and outdoor campaign were created by the iconic photographer Vincent Dixon. A homage to the expansive beauty of Tunisia, the images are as esthetic as they are modern. The visual concept features a mirror placed in the landscape, reflecting a contrasting site, inviting us to step into yet another compelling experience that only Tunisia can offer.
A new campaign wouldn’t be complete without a new signature, and this one truly reads like an invitation: ‘Tunisia, the land of multiple journeys’. The new campaign aims to promote the destination amongst French, Belgian, Spanish and Italian audiences during the high season for tourism in Tunisia.
The campaign was conceived by Publicis and will benefit from a strong multi-media support on digital and social platforms, and OOH with a special emphasis on public transit supports and bus shelters from September through December 2018.
