Pete Chambers, previously of Partizan London and Bullet, has joined Mad Cow Films in London as executive producer.

Chambers joins the company from Serious Pictures, where he was running the music video department.

"I felt it was time to move back into commercials," he told shots.net. "Mad Cow does a lot in Europe and we want to try and get back into the London market and give the company a shake-up in terms of roster and creativity."

The full roster makeover will be announced next week but the company has already signed director Markus Walter, who was most recently repped in London by Harry Nash.

"It was quite unusual that he hadn't been snapped up already," said Chambers on the signing. "But he has been working lots in Europe and the London reaction so far to his reel has been great." Walter, who has recently produced work for adidas, Wella, Mars and Vodaphone, previously worked with Chambers at Bullet which closed in August 2002.

Chambers' desire to return to commercials does not mean that he is completely turning his back on music videos, however. "We're also going to form a small but perfectly formed music video department, which is taking shape as we speak and should be up and running by the end of April," he said. "But we'll just be doing the promos that we want to do for creative purposes. A lot of people in London don't know what Mad Cow do so we want to get out there and get the reels out there."

shots.net will bring the roster developments at Mad Cow to you next week.
