Popp turns director; Ali signs to Partizan; Saville Productions signs Amon; Tiedemann joins Czar.US; Pleix joins Wanda; Keith Schofield joins Karma; and more...

Greg Popp, group executive producer and senior vice president at DDB/Chicago, has left the agency to join Supply and Demand in New York as a director. Popp earned his directing stripes at the agency, where he co-directed the Real Men of Genius campaign with John Immesoete (who is now repped by Backyard Productions and Mustard for directing).

Popp chose Supply and Demand because of his long-time association with exec producer and MD Tim Case. "I've always been impressed by Tim's ability to recognise good work and by his passion for the business," he said. "I was looking for a particular fit, and I believe I've found it with Supply and Demand. I have great respect for the work of directors Tony Kaye and Jeffery Plansker and I can see myself meshing well there."

Director Michael Joy has joined the roster at Luscious International in Sydney. "Michael's skills and experience fit perfectly with those of our existing directors," said Luscious exec Andrew Morris. "It's great to have him join the Luscious International team."
