Tamara Ingram has joined Grey London as CEO. The move sees Ingram leave her position as global CEO of market insights company Added Value to return to the ad industry, where she was with Saatchi & Saatchi for 17 years, eventually becoming executive chairman, before moving to McCann-Erickson as chairman and CEO in 2002.
"I'm incredibly excited about the opportunity," she said. "The Grey Group has fantastic clients, a deep understanding of building brands and we can engage with consumers at every touch-point. Dave Alberts and the management team have done a tremendous job, particularly improving the creative work."
Ingram will partner Alberts, who remains chairman and executive creative director, in the London office.
Sydney producer Ellen Barton has joined Pod Film in Sydney along with two directors, Antony Redman and Jens Mikkelsen. Also joining the production company is flash animator/illustrator Steve Scott. More info is at http://www.podfilm.com.au.
Ben Rogers has joined the telecine team at London's Framestore CFC. UK-born Rogers joins the company after two-and-a-half years working at Oktobor-SilverScreen in New Zealand, where he was senior colourist.
Q Department has opened its European headquarters in Amsterdam. The company, set up by Drazen Bosnjak, has offices in New York and its licensing division also has an alliance with Warp Records in the UK.
