New signings at Saville Productions, Rokkit, Amarillo Films, BeachHouse Films, Pistoleros Films, and more...

Stephen Daldry, director of the Oscar-nominated Billy Elliot and The Hours, has signed to Saville Productions in New York for commercials direction. More info on Daldry is at http://www.savilleproductions.com.

Rokkit in London has signed directing team Logan for UK and European representation. Logan were previously repped internationally by Anonymous Content.

Amarillo Films in London has signed director Charley Stadler to its commercials roster. Stadler, who has recently completed his first feature, Dead Fish, has previously directed spots for clients including BMW, Porsche, T-Online, Mitsubishi and Vodafone.

BeachHouse Films in Santa Monica has signed director Jeff Gordon for US representation. Gordon joins from X-Ray, a Crossroads Films company.

Pistoleros Films in Cape Town has signed director Zola Maseko. Maseko is director of the recently released movie Drum, which won the top prize at Africa's premier film festival Fespaco 2005. More info is at http://www.pistoleros.co.za.

Steve Dunn has joined JWT London as head of art & design. Having previously worked as creative director at Wieden & Kennedy, Lowe Howard-Spink and Ogilvy & Mather, as well as directing through Moon, Dunn has most recently freelanced at leading London agencies, including JWT. He will work across the board on all accounts at JWT.

In Sydney, The Campaign Palace and Batey Red Cell have merged to form The Campaign Palace Red Cell. The new company will open officially on August 1 and will be led by Palace CEO Mark Mackay.

D&AD has appointed a new education director after the departure of current director Claire Fennelow after seven years in the role. Fennelow has been succeeded by her deputy, Chris Thompson, who has been with D&AD since December 2000. D&AD has also announced the appointment of Maeve O'Sullivan as media relations manager. O'Sullivan joins from Global Graduates, an educational non-profit organisation.
