Moves this week at Another Film Company, Fallon, Guava, Ebeling Group, Lost Planet
Director Nick Jones has signed to Another Film company. Jones, who featured on shots.net recently for his 118 118 spoof of Honda's Choir spot, was formerly with Rogue and has shot for Mini, Tango, Fiat Punto, Kodak, Citroen and Irn Bru. He is also working on his first feature about a group of actors working on a war film who get caught up in a real conflict.
Fallon has named Vic Palumbo as its head of broadcast production. Palumbo joined Fallon a year ago from Wieden + Kennedy, where he worked on the BMW, Nike and Microsoft accounts.
Visual effects studio Guava has appointed Steve Holiner as executive producer. Formerly with Quiet Man in the same role, he has worked on brands including GE, Budweiser and Pepsi over a seven-year career in commercials post production.
Production company the Ebeling Group has appointed Dex Deboree as executive producer. He was a producer at Los Angeles-based editorial house Rock Paper Scissors for five years where he worked with directors including Mark Romanek, Lance Acord and Errol Morris. In 2005, he wrote and produced his first feature film titled Big Fat Lady.
Lost Planet has taken on Paul Martinez as company partner. Martinez has edited films for Gary McKendrie, Baker Smith and Pam Thomas and won a gold at Cannes for his Toyota Girlfriends and Altoids Altodia spots. Martinez also edited the Academy Award nominated short film Everything In This Country Must.
