Moves this week at The Institute; Mustard; Crossroads; P for Production; Cliff Freeman & Partners; DDB Canada; KSV; Trailer Park; Final Cut NY; MPC; SMNY; and Furlined.

LA-based production company The Institute signs Rob Cohen, director of The Fast and the Furious. Joining for commercial and feature representation, Cohen's other films include XXX, The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, and HBO film The Rat Pack. He has also directed commercials for the likes of Mercedes, Coors and Chevy.


Mustard Films signs live action and animation director Michael Wright. Previously at Aardman Animation, Wright has recently worked on campaigns for Dairylea through JWT and Serta Mattresses through Doner Michigan USA, amongst others. He is also currently completing his fourth film for Dothegreenthing.com.


Crossroads adds Welsh director Stuart Rideout to its US roster. Signed to RSA in the UK, Rideout has worked with agencies such as BBH, TBWA and DDB for clients including Playstation, Canon and Kodak.


New production company P for Production hires Israeli director Yariv Gaber, who has shot for brands including Sprite, Fox Menswear and Yes Satellite.


CEO of Cliff Freeman & Partners in New York, Jeff McLelland, has left the agency after three years in the post. The company holds the accounts for Quiznos and Baskin-Robbins, and recently lost the Snapple account. McLelland will be replaced by Clayton F. Ruebensaal, who leaves his role as vice president/senior account director at BBDO New York.


DDB Canada hires art director Colin Hart to join the Vancouver office. Hart was previously at Cawley NEA/TBWA in Dublin, and prior to that DDB Tokyo. He will be paired up with copywriter Neil Shapiro to work on campaigns for clients including BC Hydro and the Canadian Tourism Commission.


US agency KSV hires James Noble as creative director, where he will head creative operations in the agency's Burlington, Vermont and New York offices. Noble joins from his post as creative director at Click Here, an interactive agency in Dallas, and prior to that worked at TBWA Chiat/Day in San Francisco and BBDO in Vancouver.


Marketing agency Trailer Park expands its television department with a promotion and a new hiring. Mike Leathers is promoted to president and co-creative director, while Sarah Pierce is named as senior vice president and co-creative director.


Final Cut in New York announces that editor Stéphane Dumonceau joins their roster. Before recently taking a two year sabbatical, Dumonceau worked with directors including Mark Romanek, Errol Morris, Stacy Wall, Spike Lee and Wes Anderson, on brands such as ESPN, Nike, Levis and MTV.


MPC welcomes Davie Johnston to the executive board, where he takes on the role of chief technology officer. Johnston has been working with the company for 14 years, and as head of strategic projects recently managed the opening of MPC's new LA office.


Smoke & Mirrors New York hires CG Supervisor Michael Donovan. Joining from Spontaneous, Donovan has worked with brands including LG, GE, Verizon and Gillette.


US-based Furlined welcomes Pamala Buzick to its team as director of marketing. With stints at Partizan and HSI on her CV, Buzick was most recently global head of sales and marketing at Human.
