To hype the re-launch of crime and thriller channel 13th Street Universal, Jung von Matt/Spree Berlin has devised an interactive live event that puts the viewer literally at the scene of the crime.
Dubbed ‘the first movie in the outernet’, The Witness allows a select audience to physically visit a hotel room in Berlin and, looking through their smart phone, ‘witness’ the kidnapping of a prostitute by the Russian Mafia. The amateur detectives then follow clues to various locations throughout the city to try to solve the crime and rescue the girl.
