It took four months of looking at more than 4,000 Getty Images videos to select the footage for this resulting film.

Director Marcos Kotlhar and copywriter Sophie Schoenburg spent four months reviewing more than 4,000 Getty Images videos to find the right ones for a new universal love story. In the end, AlmapBBDO wove together 150 video clips to create 85 Seconds for the resulting piece.

Without dialogue - just a soundtrack alongside the video - the film tells the story of a couple who meet as children, are separated after graduation and then reunite as adults. According to the film, if the entirety of the Getty Images video library was played, it would run for about 63,113,983 seconds - just over two years.

Kotlhar and Schoenburg employed a similar idea in their successful 2012 piece, From Love to Bingo, which contained 873 images played in a flipbook style. Also based on a love story, the piece showed the life of a man who loses his wife but gains the strength to sail around the world after winning at bingo. The team put a small twist on the flipbook idea, using Getty Images videos instead of stills to create 85 Seconds.
