After a seven-year break, the 300-year old brand returns to our screens with a spot led by a thirsty squirrel. Directed by Gorgeous' Simon McQuoid, the commercial was created through adam&eveDDB and is set to the Kaiser Chiefs track Learnt My Lesson Well, as the Smithwick's animal brews a perfect thimbleful of ale.

Five months of production was involved for the job and the spot cleverly uses a combination of live action and bespoke CGI animation, developed at The Mill, to bring to life the cinematic world of the brewery and the CG animated hero character.
