This emotional PSA was created to educate about self defense gun laws and includes real audio footage of emergency calls made on the night that Trayvon Martin was killed in Sanford, Florida.
The piece, helmed by Floyd Russ of Narrow Margin Films, follows the re-enactment of George Zimmerman in his pursuit of Martin on that fateful night, warning about the danger of self-defense laws written by the National Rifle Association (NRA) and the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC).
The work was launched by the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence (CSGV) and calls on viewers to take action to prevent similar tragedies with a petition at this dedicated webpage.
