This promo teaser created at Aardman Animations previews a new radio play written by Sir Tom Stoppard for the BBC.

Celebratng the 40th anniversary of Pink Floyd's album The Dark Side of the Moon, the show will air on Monday 26 August and stars a stellar cast including Bill Nighy, Rufus Sewell and Adrian Scarborough. The lead roles will be played by Olivier Award-winning Iwan Rheon (Misfits) and stage actress Amaka Okafor (The Garbage King).

The psychedelic radio drama is based on themes from the band's seminal album and Aardman was given the opportunity to create two films for the programme: the Dark Side teaser and an extended film loop to compliment the audio experience online and on the red button.

Darkside was created using a collage of digital imaging, CGI, studio-based effects and hand crafted elements.
