Envision Media Arts (EMA) has promoted development executive David Tish to the position of vice president of development. Being instrumental in bringing projects forward to the production company has paid off for Tish, building the necessary relationships with directors and writers which have led him to his new role. He will continue to work in the development department with new ventures in bigger-budgeted films and TV miniseries on the horizon. His career has seen Tish work with filmmaking firm Dreamworks, involving him in the Shrek and Madagascar franchises. His TV experience includes Spartacus and Party Down and in his role as development executive at EMA, Tish helped coordinate the development and production of Chained with Vincent D’Onofrio and Julia Ormond; and the critically acclaimed Celeste and Jesse Forever with Rashida Jones and Will McCormack.
