Jungleboys directing duo The Van Vuuren Bros have written and shot the latest Old Spice online films that have launched the brand and its products in Australia and New Zealand.
Featuring the ridiculously handsome Isaiah Mustafa, who flew to Australia for the shoot, the videos reference typical things we would usually associate with the two countries and the directors wrote the scripts for the original pieces, based on the wider Man Your Man Could Smell Like caign.
"These spots originated as short pieces of PR content but morphed into something bigger once the Van Vuuren Bros wrote the scripts," says Alex Hay, EP at Jungleboys. "We only had six hours of shooting time with Isaiah, on top of this full edits had to be turned around by 7am the morning after the shoot. I think the spots stand up on their own but when you take all the extra factors into consideration, the guys did an amazing job.’
