Mad Cow signs Parchow

Mad Cow Films has announced the signing of shots Awards 2013-shortlisted new director Denis Parchow. Parchow's love of commercial making stems from the fact that, as a child, his parents (both teachers) banned him from ever watching them - but that early censorship planted a certain seed. After a short stint as a lumberjack, he enrolled at the Filmakademie Baden-Wurttemberg to study commercial directing. Having won high acclaim for his spot Sven the Terrible, a comedic take on film piracy where a Viking is reduced to searching for a new job with unsuccessful results, he went on to direct the award-winning commercial Don't be afraid of the dark for Steiff.
