Stable director Lee Ford describes this piece of work as a "non-fashion fashion film". Created for dressmaker Roland Mouret, the director chose to use actors rather than models and drafted in the talent of Brit screen actor Geoff Bell.
Designer Mouret is portrayed in the surreal film by a young boy who watches his father (Bell) hacking through meat at a butcher's bench. The concept plays on a time as a child when Mouret first became inspired to be a dressmaker when he would watch his butcher father work. He has also credited his father's technique of folding over his apron - to cover the blood stains and reveal a clean spot - as a big influence in his designs, which often feature folding of fabric in a similar manner. The piece was cut by Edward Line at Final Cut and colour graded by MPC's Jean-Clement Soret.
