Emmy-winning director Alan Poul has signed to US production hub HeLo for his first commercial representation. The established feature and television director/producer is currently working on the golden globe nominated HBO series The Newsroom. Previous to this Poul served as EP and contributing director on all five seasons of HBO’s wildly successful series, Six Feet Under. Throughout his career Poul has picked up some of the industry’s top awards including a Golden Globe, Producer’s Guild Awards, GLAAD Awards and Peabody Awards.
