Double signing at Grand Large

New York and Paris-based production company Grand Large has announced the addition of directors Julie Taymor (pictured) and Brad Furman to its roster of talent. Taymor is a director, playwright, puppeteer and designer who has worked on high-profile Broadway stage productions including The Lion King and Spider-Man. Her work on The Lion King made her the first woman to win the Tony Award for directing a musical. Taymor’s film credits also include Frida, Titus and The Tempest. Furman has helmed films including The Lincoln Lawyer, Runner Runner and The Take. She also directed a spot starring hip-hop heavyweights 50 cent and G-Unit in a short film for their appearance at the Brit Awards.
